Not surprised by Pedro's debut. We all knew he was quality.

But watching him, I am sure he is not the player we need as I don't think now that he would have made such a massive difference in our side results wise. Watching Costa however, I am convinced that's the type of forward we should be going for. Even when not playing well like today, his aggresivity, strength and "killer instinct" (like his well taken goal today) makes him a constant threat on every ball that comes near his feet. We don't have a forward capable of keeping both CB busy all game, opening up spaces for others, being that anchor able to sustain our play.

If we didn't sign Pedro because we are lining up cash for a striker of that mould, then it's brilliant work from LVG and Woodward.
