Big Bang theory lost it's touch very early on. I gave it up one or two seasons back because they kept throwing the same formulaic and unfunny jokes repeatedly.

Since they paired them off it's gone downhill, all lovey dovey relationships now. Not laughed once in the past few series. Time to call it a day.

Never got what all the fuss was about to be honest, don't think I've ever laughed at it once.

Do you watch comedies/sitcoms?
Stalker has ended it's first series, they could have let me know...

I do yeah, not many newer ones though. My favourite US one was Scrubs but that ended a while ago, not really keen on many other US sitcoms. Tried watching Big bang theory and How I met your mother amongst others but never taken to them.
Nothing beats Peep Show for me, on both sides of the Atlantic.

Penny Dreadful had its worst episode of them all tonight. I've always said that I don't like the Frankenstein plot and what has Dorian Gray's gay affair got to do with anything?

I'll probably watch it tomorrow. Been really impressed with the season so far, so they're allowed an off week I suppose. Then again I might like the episode! Eva Green is phenomenal in it, one of the best acting performances on tv at the moment.

Yeah, Eva Green is truly brilliant in this show, but there was just not enough of the main plot tonight for me and a few shock factor scenes thrown in. I'll wait until you watch it so as not to spoil it for you. Watching The Blacklist now.

Just no one seems to mention any comedies, would welcome any recommendations. Of the US ones I've only really watched Big Bang and at a push Friends, never got hooked on Scrubs, can't really stand the likes of How I met your mother or Two and half men. As for the UK since the Inbetweeners there's not been much that I can recall, did watch the US version once or twice but that was cringeworthy. Not going out isn't bad but that's gone downhill since they lost Vine, Job Lot isn't too bad either... end up watching reruns of Peep Show, Only Fools and Fawlty Towers to get anything close to a smile. Sitcoms seem to be a dying breed.

I forgot about Friends maybe because I assumed everyone likes Friends to a certain extent. I used to love it but when you've seen every season about 20 times it gets old. As far as sitcoms go it's one of my favourite all time I guess, some scenes and episodes give me a genuine belly laugh which is hard to get from me most of the time.
Two and a half men can be funny but the more you watch it the more you realise it's just Charlie Sheen playing himself in real life. Used to watch Rules of Engagement but it rarely made me laugh, if ever. The Middle is another one which has it's moments but is largely unfunny.
Mike and Molly is shit, never liked King of Queens, Fraser, Seinfeld.. Modern Family is supposedly the most watch sitcom in the world at the moment and not at all funny.
The Inbetweeners is the only one of the newer sitcoms that I've ended up enjoying. Not going out isn't bad but I think I only enjoyed it because I love Lee Mack, I agree it's not as good without Tim Vine though.
Other than that I'm the same, stick to old episodes of Peep show, Only fools, Scrubs and Friends (If there's nothing else on). They're not a dieing breed as there are loads around right now, good ones are a dieing breed though.

I suppose so.
Used to watch Rules as well, could be mildly amusing at times. I can't stand Frasier but can tolerate Kings of queens and Raymond, Modern Family isn't funny as you say and The Middle just seems to me a rip off of Malcolm in the middle.
Just seem to be watching a lot of serial killers or shows involving murder at the minute, could do with some humour. :-/

I dunno, I think murder is the only thing missing from a good sitcom.

My wife and kids was really good Damon Wayans at his best. Terry Crews was in it as well.

I used to watch that sometimes, not that funny though. Fresh prince was cool but on the whole not particularly funny.
