Cheers Miguel. Easy to see who he becomes, kinda like all of them really, but keeps it interesting trying to predict their future characters.

Yes, one of the show's weak points is that it lacks subtlety. Cat and Ivy being clear cut examples. This one at least wasn't immediately obvious. Though apparently the show producers more or less spoiled it before the show but since I hadn't seen the trailer or seen anything online, it came as a surprise.

I'm not sure if they want us to know this early who each one is deliberately as a way of keeping us watching. I'm also not convinced by the acting of the guy playing Jim Gordon though, he doesn't seem convincing enough for me anyway, toooo nice of a straight-lace guy, but , that's comic-book I suppose, but there is enough to keep the interest up with the others. Hopefully it will continue for a while to bear fruit to our predictions regarding who becomes who.

I'm sure they want to the audience to know who is who because they think it will make people stay hooked. People like spotting references and recognizing who the character will grow up to be. It gives a little ego boost.
The writers of Gotham are making the mistake of bashing our heads with their "easter eggs" in such a way, that the only way you could miss it is if one were asleep during the episode.

True, like what I was saying, but the idea is novel and not obviously aimed at a very young audience so far for a change providing a bit of nostalgia for the older audience as the newer Batman franchise has deviated from the original to attract a younger audience.

Gotham You guys are referring to the kid? He will be Joker right? Looks a little bit like Jack Nicholson too. Casting department are doing a good job imo. Catwoman that looks like Michelle Pfeiffer and now this. On another matter, when will the penguin become fat?

Took me a few reads to understand what you were saying. But ok, if it attracts the older audience, that's cool. However, I didn't see the point of the show making Selena already be called Kat. They could have built that character up over time so we would gasp and slowly realize this girl is Catwoman. Same goes for Ivy. Same for Penguin. Etc. They did a good job with the son of the "The Blind Fortune Teller". It was a surprise. That's how it should be done. Gotham You guys are referring to the kid? He will be Joker right? Looks a little bit like Jack Nicholson too. Casting department are doing a good job imo. Catwoman that looks like Michelle Pfeiffer and now this. On another matter, when will the penguin become fat? Yes, that's most likely him. Great casting. And I doubt we'll see Penguin putting on weight any time soon.

Really enjoying Fortitude, don't see the comparison with Fargo but fair enough. Heard that one before, must be that white stuff playing with people's minds Episode four was a little slow but it hooked you for the next one right at the end, suppose they can't all be fast and furious. I have so many questions after that episode, can't wait for the next. I hate it when shows do that to you

I had to watch episode 4 again, to get it straight in my head, very intriguing show. But how does Stanley Tucci's character Morton get away with just an overcoat and cap outside in the cold when all the locals have to wear survival suits? :-/

The episodes on fortitude are kinda confusing to be honest. The premiere was 2 hours... so that's episode 1 and 2 together..it should be episode 5 this week.
