Jesus Christ that's funny, has he ever thought of switching to comedy..
I think someone needs to fill Paul in.. It's 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.
Poor Leicester as well, done them no justice.

Soccer Saturday pundits pick their champions Phil Thompson says: At this moment, I've got Arsenal to win the league because they're slightly more consistent than Man City. Paul Merson says: I've changed my mind about 18 times now but it's a really tough one to call and I'm siding with City at the moment. Charlie Nicholas says: Arsenal Matt Le Tissier says: As things stand, I'm backing Manchester City to win Phil Thompson (long nose) swear2-smiley also says: Could not believe Louis van Gaal suggested that Manchester United could win the title after Sunday's fortuitous win. They've got no chance.

Yeah people are stupid criticising him for saying that. What do they expect him to say? Fact is we are back in with a chance of winning the league. We won't win it if we continue to play the way we're playing, not a chance but if we can find some of that form from the 2nd part of last season, 7 points is not a lot of ground to make up, especially not this season.

Only really disagree with Nicholas having City winning it. I think we still have to be cautious about our expectations. We're on a good run but we've done that already this season, only for it to tail off. No doubt we've put ourselves back in with a great chance of the top 4 but we've got to go and win some tough games first. Starting with West Brom on Sunday.

We'll be lucky to get top 4 with our injury list, we're punching above our weight as it is.

Exactly. At the beginning of the season, top 4 should've been nailed on for us but the form at the end of last year put a serious dent in it. Now that we've come through that tough patch, getting top 4 with our injury situation as it is now would be remarkable. Saying that, there's a lot of players due back in March. So if we're still within touching distance when we get most of our players back, the expectancy will go up again.
