The headline is still bollocks though. I don't understand where in anything that he's said that he's revealed any 'secrets'.
They've basically made a news article saying, '4-3-3 gives footballers more passing options.' I'd expect my missus to be able to figure that one out without van Gaal's help.

Yes, it should be obvious, but it obviously isn't. You still can see how some people's minds work and I mean everywhere, if you look around. Some of the statements just oozes misunderstanding in relation to what van Gaal has been doing all of this time. You still have some people who don't have a clue what's the base of the word "tactic" in a modern way of today's game and are making a mockery out of everything, especially out of the word "philosophy" in van Gaal's speech. Last week you had that man who asked Keown "so, what those triangles actually do"? Then you have Sbraglia who sees the height and physics as a unique tactical ingenuity over something that represents the advanced way of thinking and approaching to this subject that has evolved in some very different directions. There is so much things about this to be said that it would took a good 10 and more pages to explain everything to the core of it, what's right and what's wrong about tactics as a sole subject but you'll hardly find an approval or interest from a regular fan who still sees the game as a simple kick and run entertaining thing. The same goes to some (not all of them) so called experts, TV presenters and journalists. More often than not you'll be marked as a boring smartass freak who is over-complicating it and to be fair, this can be a very boring stuff if your interest lies elsewhere. It's easy to comprehend for you personally and to some people on this forum, it's obvious who they are, but there are still some who are doubting van Gaal's methods and what he's trying to achieve here. This is just a part of it.

Tabloid headline writers are cunts, they learn it in lying cunt school. They've been writing this shit for so long and people have bought it for so long, it's an institutionalised norm now. It took 'em 40 years to get tits off page 3, don't expect any more concessions for another 50 at least.

It's amazing how the media create and shape public opinion in general, whether it's a headline or the whole lot. This pandemic is very hard to beat and this has entered into all pores of the society.

The average positions of our players in two last matches against Tottenham and Liverpool. It's a clear sign of a good improvement on a team work field when the players move in relation to each other, leaving no gaps between themselves like it was the case last season.
