It's a shame really this happened in the moment when he had his best game this season. Whether deserved or not, this ban comes as a kick in the teeth because of the cause of the offense itself and verdict of the Evans' conduct. As much as disgusting and "no man's" act, there are far worse offenses being treated more lightly than it should but it's the way how it is.

oh yeah, it's bad all round for us, we needed him available for these upcoming matches if only for back up. No winners here.

Agree with this. It is even worse as Evans is looking now as a complete liar in the whole story but what's done is done, no point in crying over it now.

West brom agree fee with Man Utd for Evans6mil + add ons. Decent amount imo. Started really well for us but has since fallen behind Smalling, Jones , Rojo and Blind in the pecking order. Still rate him of one of the better CB we have had over the years. Just became a little inconsistent over the last year or 2. Injuries didn't help either.

That's one that everyone saw coming. I had high hopes for him, so it's a little disappointing that he never reached these expectations.
Saw somewhere 8 + 2 million add-ons, so that's a good price if true.
