With them to come to Old Trafford, finishing second is now in our own hands. Everyone talking about the top 4 seemed to think City were a certainty but in their current form I'd say they're far from a certainty. 3 places up for grabs between 6 teams now.

Going by the current form it looks like Arsenal will take 2nd place

Villa are looking good, Tim Sherwood has Benteke firing again.
if they bring in some players in the summer and get that squad to gel they could be an upper table team again (should really be challenging for a europa league place)

There's a lot to be admired about this Soton side.
currently 1-1

Soton dominating Chelsea for most of the match but I get a feeling that Chelsea will get a late goal and win it

Me too, got champions written all over them, even when they don't look good.

Watching Marseille vs Lyon tonight, plenty of potential reds next season, in my wishes at least

Have you got a poster of Lacazette in your room? Holy cack mate! Yes I have of course! And Vidal's too! No I mean really, add those two plus one of Varane (bad chance), Hummels or someone like that and you're not far away from winning an UCL in two years time, if you play like we played today.

sure, I am amongst the few who believe LVG can turn us into a major force. All we lack is a bit of faith, of time (LVG has not even been here one year, neither have many new players), and a few new quality faces.
This summer will be vital anyway, and it will surely be an exciting one.

I don't think there's only a few who believe in LVG's ability to turn us back into a major force, Matt. Anybody with an ounce of common sense can see we're a much improved outfit this year and can see LVG's overall plan for this side. Something that was seriously lacking from his predecessor.
As you say people who don't trust him need a little faith and patience. They could also do with looking at clips of his past sides or just take a look at his CV. This guy is a class act and I'm certain that if we were in the Champions League even this season we'd have fared much better than the other English sides because of his know-how in Europe.
