if we could lower the asking price by more than 5 million by including Evans, we should do it. Evans at the end of the day he has already been surpassed by our younger CB's like Blackett, Jones and McNair

Wouldn't say he's been surpassed by Blackett and Mcnair but I'd certainly be looking to let him leave. He's the most experienced of our central defenders and has regressed in the last few seasons. At one stage he looked like he'd turn into a really top central defender but that time has been and gone now. He's behind Smalling, Jones and Rojo, then if we bring in Ramos/Otamendi he drops a further place down the pecking order.
I struggle to see him at Everton though, he'd still be on the bench for me. I'd sooner have Stones and Jagielka if I was an Everton fan.

When is the squad announced for the tour. That will be an interesting read. Who is in and who is out will give a true indacation of who is lokely to be sold especially in defence.
