According to SSN there, we offered below 25m for Schneiderlin 10 days ago and they want 30m so rejected it and there has been no more contact between the clubs since.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf are reporting that Manchester United will target Stefan de Vrij if they fail in a bid for Sergio Ramos.
The 23-year-old Lazio defender played 32 times for the Serie A side last season having joined from Feyenoord in the summer of 2014.

Well it can be but it's also a newspaper in the newspaper business. He doesn't significantly add to what we've got and isn't really what we're looking for in that position, so unlikely.

we were in for De Vrij last season apparently, so it isn't completely ridiculous to think we could get him. My big issue with him would be, is he really a class above what we currently have (so basically, a guy who is top tier) and honestly, i don't think so
