Did any of you watched Madrid's last game yesterday? Seemed like it was Iker Casillas's last game for them as first choice keeper. He was like waving goodbyes to the fans during the final minutes of the match.
When Real wants someone, they will definitely get the player. I think it's bye bye De Gea for me.

De Gea only got the spotlight in these past two seasons, so I'll agree that Mata and Herrera are the most likeable guys. Hard working, nice and modest - no big dramas surrounding them. I think they'd be just as loved in the next few seasons

other reports stating Rafa wants Pepe Reina?
either way if De Gea goes. I want Thibaut Courtois. I would use all the money from De Gea (i am sure somewhere between 40-50 million) on him and then some.
If we are losing De Gea, why downgrade? i know chelsea is going to be hard to buy from and we will overpay but he is quality, plus they have cech, its not like they will need another keeper in that case (just another backup)

I'm sorry but that's the least sensible suggestion I've heard from anywhere. Why on earth would Chelsea sell us their goalkeeper? They're the reigning champions, pretty loaded financially, he's one of the best in the world and could potentially be their keeper for the next 10 years. Then there's the fact they'd be selling their number 1 keeper to a direct rival.
Never going to happen.

Getting £40-50m for a goalkeeper with a year left on his contract and wants to leave? Alright then.

I'm pretty confident Chelsea would reject a £50-£60million bid for Courtois from us.

I'm pretty confident Chelsea would reject a £50-£60million bid for Courtois from us. well for a keeper it is insane money, i don't think any keeper ever went for that amount (would at least beat the transfer record for keepers by about 20 million if its closer to 60 mill) Well we're targeting Lloris, which i guess is alright, he's 28 which is good for a keeper. but idk i rather someone younger who can grow more.

I'm gonna need your dealer's number.
From what I've seen quoted so far Real are gonna get De Gea for around 25mil. Courtois...maybe in 10 years. I'm not even convinced we can get Cech, let alone Courtois.

Real are gonna get De Gea for around 25mil Seems like a fair price to me considering his contract situation.

so we're basically resigned to the fact that we are going to have to downgrade significantly on De Gea. thats just great.
are we capable of anything in the transfer market

Downgrading on De Gea?! No way! There are tons of keepers at his (or above) level that are willing to join us, and their clubs are willing to sell for a reasonable price.
