Embarrassing season on and off the pitch for Wigan. Amazing how a side can fall from grace...from f.a cup winners and being a premier league side to league 1 in 2 years.

Jurgen Klopp has asked to leave Dortmund by all accounts. Could he be on his way to City? May he take Hummels with him if he does?

I don't think City would suit him, too many prima donnas, would they let him bring in his own players etc. They'd need an overhaul, do they have patience to let him do it. I have no idea to be honest. Rather not see him there. What does this mean for Shinji?  |

I think Hummels to us is a done deal, barring Madrid / Barca top offers, now I've heard Klopp is gone.

Holy shit, this came as a surprise to me. Hoped for him to stay there much longer and resurrect his career and Dortmund's form. I very much like the guy, really sad to see him leave like that. Most probably lost some of the dressing room, going by their performances this season. That team is much much better than their results are showing!
I just hope that he won't replace Pellegrini, that would be really annoying! Maybe some NT could pick him up?

If he's learnt English then City would be nuts to not try and build something with him. But I'm like Dave, I don't think they'll go that route.

He already speaks pretty good English, I think. I'm sure I can remember him doing English TV interviews when they've played Arsenal and City.
It's hard to believe a club haven't already approached him with a brilliant offer given the sudden nature of it all. It must be disillusioning for him though watching his best players getting picked off every summer and not being able to do a thing about it. Maybe like Nemanja says, the Hummels and Gundogan thing is just the final straw.
My bet is he'll be at City though.
