Bob Bradley sacked after 11 games. Never would have thunk that one.

Out of his depth and a strange appointment to begin with as was Guidolin, Swansea really seem to be losing their way now which is a shame but they have the time to recover providing they get the right man.

it was a rubbish appointment to begin with, why did they think Bob Bradley, a guy who was pretty meh in his MLS stint, would be a manager that would steer them clear of relegation i honestly don't know. I'd love for them to hire Giggs but its clear they're fighting for survival, now is the time to bring in a manager who will solidify them in the premier league (so not harry redknapp ) not entirely sure who could keep this lot up but Roy Hodgson is an option (he'd keep them up even if it ain't flash) if he wanted the job. I still think you can't really go wrong with Marcelo Bielsa.

Let's face it, it's a bollocks board making bollocks decisions. And Giggs had it right all along after that board accused him of being 'underwhelming' in the interview and he later retorted the board suffered from a lack of vision (and financial backing). He'd be a mug to take that on till the end of season.

He started of well enough at Derby but then they slipped up from looking assured of promotion to low playoffs to somewhere just outside of it.
Either way they're not staying up, i'd say them and Hull are certainties to go down now and its a fight between Palace and Sunderland to go down. Those are the only 4 teams that are exceptionally bad this season to be honest.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38503364McNulty is spot on there. It's a shame but it's the business these managers are in, Hull would rather take a gamble on trying to keep up even though it's highly unlikely they will. Phelan started off well, they've picked up some good points and watching them lately they have played pretty well but just haven't got that striker who'll bag the goals to keep them up. Really don't see what a new guy can do and doubt he'd have anything available to him in Jan.

I'm sorry but Phelen was always shit. I never really rated him even when he was with us to be honest. He never came across as a guy who could be a good premier league manager, maybe championship but even then we're talking like middle-lower end or if a premier league team it would be like a Burnley type who plays a particular way and grinds out results.

Rainieri Reactions ........... shocking decision Klopp: “What can I say? Am I surprised that things like this can happen? No. It is not only football. For me there have been a few strange decisions in 16/17: Brexit, Trump, Ranieri. Do I have to understand it all the time? Obviously not. I have no idea why Leicester did this. Everyone could see the situation in the league, the situation in the Champions League - which we are not in (comment: observant as ever Klopp lol).“He is a really special person in this business, a really nice guy. I met him before when he visited me at Dortmund and we had a nice talk. He is a wonderful person. Maybe you have to go to Leicester and ask them why they did it. I told the players at the beginning of the week Leicester now know exactly what the problem is and we should expect the best Leicester City. You saw the Champions League game and the reaction after they scored: it was like two different games before and after they scored. Obviously they needed this goal to get confidence back. Jose “My words are my shirt with his name. It is my little homage to somebody that write the most beautiful history of the Premier League,” “Somebody that deserves the Leicester stadium to be named Claudio Ranieri and he is sacked. Leicester made history two years in a row, one year because they did the most beautiful thing in the Premier League and one of most in football history, now they are also in the highlights with the decision that I think has everyone in football united because it is something very, very difficult to accept. “It is good to realise how football is, and we need to adapt to it. I thought last season when I was sacked as a champion it was a giant negative thing, now I realise it was peanuts to what happened with Claudio. Conte "I’m very sad because it is our job. I am disappointed for him because first he is a friend, he is a really good man, a really good manager. He won the title with the club and players – he reached the dream to reach the title so for sure I’m disappointed as a friend and as a coach. "Now I think it is better to wait to text him because I understand the situation and his frustration. For sure I will call him to show him my disappointment for this decision because I think it is a very strong decision." Moyes Really disappointed for Claudio because I think for managers it puts in perspective that you can win the Premier League and you go three quarters of the next season not doing so well and you can lose your job. “So if you ask me I would say really sad for Claudio and I think it’s a disappointing day for managers all around the world if this is what can happen.”

Claudio says his dream has died. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39083953 "After the euphoria of last season and being crowned champions, all I dreamt of was staying with Leicester. Sadly this was not to be," Ranieri said.
"The adventure was amazing and will live with me forever. My heartfelt thanks to everybody at the club, everybody who was part of what we achieved, but mostly to the supporters.
"You took me into your hearts from day one and loved me. I love you too."
