I can see it for Tottenham (even that's a stretch), but Leeds?? They're not asleep - more like dead and buried with a 1% chance at rising from the dead and expelling all sinners.

Gary Neville is now the manager of Valencia. Phil will be part of the coaching staff. Let's see how this works out.

not that strange really as the owner of Valencia owns 50% of Salford United. that's how Phil neville got the coaching job me thinks.

I know the background but you don't give someone a job like that just because you're mates with them, I mean, I'm glad he has, not sure about the Valencia fans tho.

Very interesting, you'd have thought Valencia would go for someone more high profile and experienced. Gary certainly talks the talk, let's see what he can do where it matters. Maybe he can send a few players our way in Jan

yea .. we could also get Vicente. He could replace all our inept wingers. Jocelyn Angloma can be our new right back as well.

They have a fantastic pair of CBS. Ayala and Peligrino. Definitely would be worth a shout. Aimar I could see becoming big in the future along with that Spanish fella, Mata I think he's called. What a fantastic team they had. Neville as their manager? Surprised to say the least. Maybe he's getting a year and a halfs worth of experience at the top level before coming back to us as Giggss understudy. I think Neville will do great.

Gary Neville, to manage one of the biggest teams in spain, with absolutely no previous managerial experience
what are they doing exactly?
Can't imagine the Valencia fans being too thrilled

Roy Keane went straight to Sunderland didn't he without any managerial experience. He had Niall Quinn as the chairman then. It's all about connection nowadays

Very convincing press conference from Nev, if he's half as good a coach as he is a speaker he'll be superb. Very interesting appointment indeed, if he does a good job there you'd have to consider him a contender to manage us in the future.
