Okie dokie let's make a few pointers ahead of this one before the teams and event unfolds
With conservative Conte I wouldn't be expecting a goalfest. He has brought that to them where they are not the Spurs of old and are made simply harder to beat and whatever happens up the other end is bonus. As we know all about "1 nil to the United", 1 goal is enough to win a game
I actually think they are lacking as much as us in the final 3rd but they do have a guy called Harry Kane to bail them out. They can be as toothless as ever they were once you man up and cut out the errors.
Now the main point on us in the final 3rd
We would have played in the last 4 games, Everton, Omonia, Newcastle and tonight Spurs which would be a decent mix of challenges for where this team is trying to go. And so far Everton would be the only game we showed promise.
I'll mention one team having similar problems to us and see how it compares:
Brighton haven't scored in their last 3 league games. They have had something like 30 to 40 shots on goal and as many touches in the opposition area over the course of them games. That is on the back of scoring 5 against Leicester and 3 at Anfield. They've just had a change of manager too
I seriously hope we can offer a better hand than Brighton and Hove Albion than talk of us struggling in the final 3rd. We will have to wait and see (and their fans are a bulling over their finishing)

And so far Everton would be the only game we showed promise. And I say that because Everton was always a hard game for us home and away Omonia just sat behind the ball but yet we gave them chances. We've already had a feeling sorry for ourselves performance in that Europa League at home to Socieadad. Newcastle, well it was just defence against attack and may be a catalsyt of painful peformances yet to come. Up to them to go out and prove that not to be the case

And last but not least to the EPL chiefs
An 8.15 kick off is a bit stupid. Just put them alongside the rest of the fixtures in a 7.45/8pm format like all the competitions.

Rashford in for Ronaldo
Fred starts again ahead of McT
Eriksen only fit for the bench
Don't say I didn't tell you so. Over to you Fred Bruno and Rashford (who comes in for Ronaldo who will almost certainly come on at some point)

Over to you Fred Bruno and Rashford (who comes in for Ronaldo who will almost certainly come on at some point) Do I really have to say it?? Do I? Hate to say we told ye so. And tonight's display debunks any theory of reliance of a supposed playmaker. Players not playing well don't help the team and need to perform better. It's not rocket science
It has just sparked a reaction from Ronaldo there before the end of the game of him going down the tunnel. Sign of a guy that knows the fire is on him. He needs to adapt. It's not all about him And lastly Rashford needs to improve his finishing or ultimately he won't be considered for a striker's role. It's what strikers do Where I'd have gone wrong tonight is I wouldn't have started Fred. Not on recent performances. It's all we had to go on. He took his chance and now needs to perform consistently This is up there with the Everton performance

And I won't back out of saying but I really do reckon Ronaldo is a bulling with that outcome tonight.

Best performance in years. When it clicks it clicks. ETH reckons they won't reaxh peak fitness till after the WC barring injuries (and a Jan addition) I reckon top 4 is more than doable.

You literally are an idiot on steroids, watch this and digest to see what he's done (had to) to mitigate limited creativity..

Calling someone an idiot yet you're the one using someone else's work to explain your argument. Why didn't you explain all this to us before the game started yesterday??? When you get called out on something you delete people's comments and walk off If you can't handle debate you should not be running a forum See how clearly I explained all to you about our forward 3 before last night's kick off

Hat's off to ETH and team for diligent problem solving. Chelsea next.. And you know what you can do if you don't like it.

Yes
You're an ordinary joe like the rest of us. Stop acting like you have some sort of higher upper on the rest of us on managerial positions
Louis Van Gaal was brought in with the reputation to solve the same problems. So stop regurging the same old stories from the post Fergie era. You have nothing new for us ed on that front
For a guy that had a busy schedule you still have time to be on here everyday posting Glazer stuff.
Plus most of my visits here only revolve around matchdays.
Come down from your ivory tower and discuss what happens on the actual playing pitch like the rest of us
