Yeah for sure he's a quality number 10 but he needs players around him to do the running and in the right formation. I certainly wouldn't be against him in behind any 2 of RVP/Falcao/Rooney with the legs of Di Maria and Herrera in behind. That would be my ideal attack, I'd probably go with Rooney/RVP right now due to Robin's recent form but Falcao for me is the best striker at the club and in the top few out and out strikers in world football when he's fully fit. His header was as good a header you'll see all season.
It's a nice problem to have especially with young hungry players like Wilson and Januzaj waiting in the wings but the first thing we need to do is get the gaffer to ditch the 3-5-2, which I do think he will do when he has a defence he fully trusts.

yep that is true Jamie, Falcao is our beat striker and when on form I would say no other finisher in the league is at his level. if he is firing this Christmas period and beyond then he will stay but as much as mata is like a luxury player I have seen in the last three matches tracking back and winning the ball back a bit but then he isn't effective from deep. Rooney can't play the midfield position he doesn't have that killer pass angel has and that burst of pace to get himself and his teammates space that's why it didn't work yesterday.
Anyways I think Rooney and mata sharing the number 10 position is good and always gets mata hungry to play more and it is only good now that our players are getting to full fitness.
