If you watched Walcott that time it was almost like he wanted to score the perfect header. A more instinctive would have buried that

Save from Neuer. Could have been goals already in this. Fast start by both teams

(watching the rugby lol)but yeah bring on City. Should be a great game. Equally as important are the games for both teams midweek ahead of the derby. Hopefully the right balance can be struck with the changes ahead of the derby. City are home midweek and we're away in Moscow so that will have to come into play and was highlighted as soon as the fixtures were released for our group. 2 massive games. Lets hope Arsenal was a blip and we can pick up where we left off today starting away on Wednesday to CSKA who are pretty decent at home.

By the way who's their best players
They buy other teams' best players and think they've landed gems.
I really hope that doesn't end

Bit of a generalization there Mr Dave.
Nah I'd just have preferred to see them hang around down there in the middle or even nether regions of EPL for the long term under him. With their occasional piece of joy. Once in a blue moon of course (And that's only the transfer market I'm talking about)
Just the comical value and near certainty of it has now disappeared now that he's gone. Much the same as them when Moyes left us. They've been nowhere near s vocal about us since
Anyone that comes in now can only do better.

Blimme me only 3 points off fourth. Oh well all we can do is look after ourselves. He was only ever going to take them so far before they'd eventually wake up and smell the coffee.

Not a whole pile he can say after that. Arsenal were just clinical on the afternoon. They done to us what we've done to them numerous times in the past. Winning without dominating the game and just been ruthless at the right times. Goals win you games not possession and they were more efficient with the ball in our third than we were in theirs. Game was over after 20 minutes, Martial's chance before HT might have set their nerves jangling but we will never know.
Everton away, which hasn't been easy of late is going to be all the more important after today and agreeing with Van Gaal on one thing is the break isn't the best thing for preparations for that game. So we'll have to hope they all come back injury free and not tired and much much fresher than today.
No excuses
Ahead to that game I'd have to bench Rooney. Usually struggles against them anyway.

These fuckers always seem to choke in the derby. I'll be more than happy if they play like this against us in a fortnight's time. On the evidence of the first 45 at least anyway
But for Liverpool are so bad this isn't a write off just yet but not holding my breathe either. just like that 1-1
