easier for us to get bale? and we could sell di maria (in fact, this is looking likely) Yes, definitely. I think one of ADM, Valencia or Nani will be leaving with the Depay signing Most probably Nani, although I'd like to keep all 3. However, I wouldn't include Valencia in this bracket if we're talking about wingers, he's the new fullback full stop. Actually, only Nani is the real winger/wide forward, di Maria is attacking midfielder first and foremost and should be played more centrally.

SEG FootballManchester United has reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven and Memphis Depay for the player's transfer, subject to a medical, once the transfer window opens in June. How did you experience the last few weeks with all the speculations about a possible transfer? 'It was an exciting and pretty hectic period, and to have a choice between so many top clubs doesn't make it any easier. For me, Manchester United is an absolute dream club, so I didn't need any convincing of the guys who already play at Manchester United’, Memphis says. ‘They told me only positive things though, and I'm looking forward to playing with my Dutch teammates next to all the other great players of Manchester United. And working with manager Louis van Gaal again is also a big bonus.’ A lot of clubs were interested in signing you? Yes, but you shouldn't believe all the rumors in the media. In the end it was just a matter of feeling, not a matter of money. Didn't you consider playing with PSV in the Champions League? I've learned so much at PSV, not only on the pitch but also as a person. That makes me grateful, but I really felt it was time for me to move on. And you can't deny the interest of a club like Manchester United. I’m proud of winning the title with PSV. It’s something the fans deserved, and something I wanted so bad as well. I wish the club all the best for coming season, and hopefully they’re lifting a trophy again next year. Your agency have had a busy couple of weeks? Not only now they have been busy. Every day we work together on the big plan. Of course I also would like to thank SEG Football for the last couple of weeks, but I really appreciate them for always standing by my side and helping me dream, believe and eventually achieve.' Kees Vos and Kees Ploegsma worked together on helping Memphis to get as much information as possible to make a final decision on his future. Kees Vos: 'Memphis joined SEG at the age of 16 and by then we already recognized the huge potential he had. It makes us very proud that Memphis developed so much since then and always lived up to the expectations.' Kees Ploegsma Jr., who has worked together with Memphis intensively since he joined the company, is obviously very proud of his client. 'We will have a medical soon and a lot of paperwork to take care of. Memphis realizes that this is just the beginning, and he has to work really hard to make sure that a lot of memorable moments will follow.

From the RAWK LvG thread:
Mkhitaryan - Check
Willian - Check
Costa - Check
Salah - Check
Konoplyanka - Check
Sanchez - Check
Depay - Check
He was never coming but hes just one in a long list. Sick to death of how we do our business. We are the exact opposite of what we were. Sick of all the press bollocks. Senior people feeding their beloved lapdog journalists about who we are trying to sign. Its a load of bollocks. Its a small time Newcastle tactic or some other shite. Hey look at us we tried to sign the best but ended up with a load of shite - no one wins. Oh but we offered him more money me bollix. Wish we would ever just shut the fuck up with transfers. Club are a fucking joke on transfers. ______________________________________________________________________________
There's enough players at clubs at a lower level than us who we should be all over, CL or not. PSV, Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina, Hamburg, Bremen, etc etc etc etc.
This wouldn't be remotely annoying if we had a record of going for top talent, because there's plenty out there. But we don't, we go for Danny Ings and Bentekes. Kieran Trippiers. Seeing them close to signing Depay and Gundogan for less than we spent on Lallana and Lovren really is a scandalous place to be.
If they do carry on signing top young talent this summer then we really have well and truly blown the chance of establishing ourselves in the top four again. _____________________________________________________________________
Heartbreaking!

According to Italian journalists Guardiola could leave Munich at the end of the season. Bayern are now considering Klopp and Ancelotti.

expanding on that. with him leaving, does that open up a window maybe for us to get Marco Reus. he is easily the best player left at dortmund honestly would not be against us bringing back kagawa (he never should have left in the first place, just moyes had nfi how to use him) as for Pogba, yep, Real Madrid is a natural fit (big ego central over there) though i think he would get more money at PSG (though now they are resembling something that is more of a team than real madrid is) Now when we have Memphis, Reus is a no go. To be fair, I was never confident we'll go for him anytime soon, Real or Bayern are his next destination. Actually, if Real goes for him, it'll be easier for us to get Bale but it's a long shot still.

Anyway, great signing, was a bit nervous whether van Gaal is really after him with an ongoing Bale rumors but thank God it's done and dusted now. Really excited!
