Fergie did leave a lot of old and average players to be fair.

Everytime I've seen Martial, he impressed me, so even if the price is ridiculous, in my books he looks like a solid signing. But he is not the short term answer. At 19 yo he will need time to adapt. And with Januzaj on loan to Dortmund, I am sure we're going to see one more face in our attacking department as we only have Young, Mata and Memphis who are proven to occupy the wide positions. And with Rooney looking like he is at the end of his career at the moment, we're bound to make one last significant signing. What I don't get though is why we didn't finalise the Pedro deal for instance? Surely something bigger is coming? Either something bigger is coming or LVG and Ed are complete muppets,Sadly I am not sure which it will be.

Any news on neymar hammy Yeah, I hear the deal is off. Barça wanted £100m for him but we were only prepared to pay £99,999,999. Ah well, on to the next one Feck it,I had hoped they would reach a deal but with such a distance between the clubs that deal now looks like it won't go through.

I am starting to question the 'loyalty' of our African supporters on Facebook anyway ...... Sarfo Yaw Jephthah how i wish LVG is reading this page .i pray you fall sick so you cant be on the bench to play your boring game anymore at least 6 months Like · Reply · 1 min Dauda Femix Rheem Go and buy guy Like · Reply · 1 min Daniel Eugene I hope they fire this fucking bastard Like · Reply · 1 min Morgan Di Benjamin we missed our manager sir alex fegurson! It's like they are only supporting United cause they were winning.... but that can't be true now can it?

DDG was always a done deal, the paparazzi soap opera just couldn't wait for this.I think we have seen today that Romero is no replacement. A keeper and a striker needed now... Still at least we have loads of time and no need to panic.... panic time

He looks solid enough as stand in keeper but he was never meant to be first choice and won't be. DDG is purely down to Perez and whether he meets the asking price or alternatives the board want. Flick a coin in the air and see what tomorrow brings for that one. lol. The problem is if the flip of a coin ends up with De Gea in Madrid our stand in keeper is suddenly no.1

In the post match press conference LVG stated the club had dealt with the De Gea issue well by getting Romero and it was up to the club he is going to or United to announce if De Gea was being sold, firstly Romero does not look like a good keeper (obviously after seeing him tested for the first time today) secondly De Gea seems to be a done deal.

He was linked to Chelsea a week ago for the same fee and from a similar source. Probably his agent letting people know he exists. I am not one to panic and as I know very little except what i read in the last 20 mins about this guy I would say sign him!!!!! GOALI might be getting a bit desperate now.... happens every season near deadline day. I mean you say the Charlie Austin thread, what's wrong with me?

Odds have been slashed from 33/1 to 4/7 on
Is he the answer to our problems? Probably not what we wanted but at least a proven scorer in the PL,i would worry about the step up to a big club though and see him as a last resort when all else failed, still better than nothing I guess.
What you think?

Awe I'm none the wiser as I currently watch this post match. He was clearly watching a different game to me I suspect he is on a different planet to you,on his planet if you have the ball for most of the game you win,it really would be nice to score more than the other team but its not vital.

That word again dominating. "We lost the game in 5 minutes" "we were in control for 85 minutes" Is he for ####### real??? Thing is he's probably telling them inside this too and that they played well Perhaps we could appeal the result on the grounds we were not ready for them changing formation?

Just listened to Van Gaal interview and am not sure he watched the same game,he seems to think we created a lot of chances and yet again talks about domination.. we had a lot of the ball but done nothing with it,thats not domination!

Positives from the game:
We all know we need a goal keeper now.
We all know we need a striker now.
We all know we need a midfielder with pace that attacks.
Negatives:
We fucking knew that for over a year and we did not sign any of these!

Agree with Dave's line-up I think we will win this comfortably. The team which used to park the bus only caused problems to us and I don't see Swansea doing that, we cannot compare last season with this, as we are much stronger this time. 3-1 United win. We are much stronger in defence and holding midfield,we don't have a creative midfielder (basti was but is more holding now)or a number 9 good enough to break down the better teams during the season,Herrera might fill the creative role hopefully but without a 9 next to Rooney or worse if Rooney gets injured I am not so sure we are stronger. I realise my posts seem negative but realistically we are the biggest club in England and top three or four in the world and our squad really is not good enough.

Well that was a thriller.. Everton couldn't create for toffee and Spuds made a hash of things infront of goal, missing Eriksen. I see what you did there
