I'd rather not take chances with Rooney - this game is too important to put on someone who hasn't played in ages. I wouldn't mind him as a sub later on when we're 3-0 or something I don't see how we can screw this up, Anderlecht were pretty poor there and got lucky with the goal. I'd love to see Rashford start as well

I'm going for the same team and a solid 1-0 win I want to see decisiveness by Rashford, Micky on top of his game and Ibra not wasting chances this time. I really liked what we did against Anderlecht - waiting for them to come at us and going for a counter attack and I think this might work against Chelsea as well

Story of the season really... Playing better, dominating the game and then we slip at the end and throw away the lead. Very frustrating especially knowing what this team is capable of. The result itself is not bad, but definitely not fair. At the end if we don't make the CL with the Europa league or with top 4 it would be performances like this that cost us. Anyway, moving on to Chelsea now

Oh and I got this from ESPN:
Five things to know about Anderlecht
1. They have their own Zlatan
Polish striker Lukasz Teodorczyk has relaunched his career since arriving on loan at Anderlecht from Dynamo Kiev last summer. He has had a similar influence to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Manchester United and plays a little like him too -- often needing just one chance to punish an opponent. Teodorczyk's goals -- 24 in all competitions before the winter break -- regularly turned one point into three while many of his teammates started the season slowly.
2. They have one of Europe's biggest midfield talents
This week Monaco were the latest side to be linked with Youri Tielemans, although Lyon and Atletico Madrid are also said to be keen on paying €25 million to €30 million to sign a player who will turn only 20 in May. A host of Premier League clubs have also been following the creative midfielder since he started a Champions League game at the age of 16. This year, though, he has improved considerably.
3. They have a lesser-known rising star
The adaptable Leander Dendoncker played at centre-back in the 8-1 World Cup qualifying win over Estonia in November and the 21-year-old's importance to Anderlecht is highlighted by the fact he has not missed a minute of action in the Belgian Pro League or Europa League this season.
4. They have their own Mourinho
The 43-year-old Rene Weiler from Switzerland led Bundesliga 2 side Nuremberg to a promotion playoff last season and soon made his mark at Anderlecht as the club cleared out 21 players.
5. Europe is not a priority
Anderlecht's 0-0 draw with Gent last weekend kept them four points clear at the top of the Belgian Pro League with eight matches left. It was the first of seven games in 21 days and, when it comes down to it, the league will take priority.

He certainly has the potential so I'm really happy that he gets some recognition. I don't understand the hate he receives from fans and blah blah this contract is crazy. No, it's not. I think all his social media presence and the dabbing and crazy celebrations puts people off, but he's a kid. And when it comes to his performances they are good, but he needs to work on consistency and like Ed said he could be another Valencia

no matter what players we sign in the summer, if we don't change tactics we are doomed to fail. Individual qualities may keep us 6th or 5th but no way we are challenging for the title the way we are playing now. We could sign neymar, messi and Ronaldo with no change of outcome unless we start playing like succesful teams do nowadays. Pressing, movement width are key. None of that is part of Mou's style. But we do press... Ok used to press in the beginning and middle of the season, the last few games were a little bit off. As for width, we've gone the entire season with width only on the right side, because there's nobody like Valencia on the left.

Had a good 5 days rest so we should have this wrapped up in the first 30 minutes. Of course 'should' being the key word here. I really am hoping that we're going to push for 4th until it's impossible, but we'll see how it goes. With all the pressure from media and what not, I'm expecting Shaw to start today but other than that should be the same:

And since all the series are enjoy are going to hell, decided to watch a good movie.
Nocturnal animals with Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal. I have a whole new appreciation for Gyllenhaal in the past few years and this movie is no exception - gripping and intense from beginning to the end.

Flash the musical... How am I supposed to take you seriously when you're singing? I am now fully expecting the final episode to be the Flash and Savitar holding hands and skipping off to the sunset.
There is a new show that they're advertising on Netflix - 13 Ways or something like that. Anyone seen it?

I think maybe start off only when there is a goal involved, because otherwise you see 5-10 situations when there's offside in the build and if the game has to be interrupted so often for 30ish seconds, it will completely ruin it for the players and fans. If they manage to narrow it down to like 10 seconds, then maybe other situations can be involved.

He is certainly lighting a fire under his ass, I don't see a problem with that to be honest. I know Shaw has been through the leg break and what not, but you have to fight for your place and I think this is what Mourinho's trying to do - give him some tough love. Either he's gonna come through and win his place back from Young or he'll ask to leave United in the summer.

Welcome Giz, love the introduction Yeah, come to think of it, I don't think we have any rules per se... Maybe we should, apparently it's very popular with other forums to have a bunch of rules and steps you need to follow to become initiated. Let me know if you have any ideas, but I'll start us off with these: 1. The Administrator is always right. 2. No advertising

I'm pretty sure we had a similar thread at the old place and I can't remember anyone disagreeing that it's the way to go forward. I mean, come on, this type of technology has been used in other sports for centuries, it's about time that football catches up.
It loses a little bit of the flavour of calling the referee a pig etc, but at the end we all want fair play and I'm pretty sure there will be more cases where you'd call him out.
The same as when they introduced the goal line technology - it has worked great so far in my opinion and has only improved the game.

Unfortunate that it happens just when we have a lack of midfielders. We've been pretty lucky this season when it comes to injuries, but I guess the amount of games and the fatigue are starting to take their toll. We could have used someone that can fill in...I don't know... like Schweinsteiger? Too soon? And apparently he scores goals too
