From Wenger it sounded like all was agreed with Sanchez, was on standby to leave, think it’s just the clubs agreement now. Decision in next 48hrs.

they're saying if we sign him it jepordises any move we make for Bale/Griezmann/Dybala in the summer. I say that's nonsense given this will be for pennies (relatively).
Anyway hopefully this goes through ASAP

Sanchez is a top player but turns 30. Ok, if on the market for reasonable money why not.
In general we should always be looking for long term replacements rather than short fixes!
Lemar maybe on his way to Loserpool, Malcom to Arsenal, Griezmann to Barca?
Signing players towards their end makes sense sometimes but should be exceptions. Matic, now Sanchez? Mou wanted Perisic...
I‘d love to see us make our own stars again!

obviously we all want that and honestly we may well just. Rashford, TFM and Tuanzebe all look like class and we have Jesse Lingard tearing it up right now (though i'm doubtful that he will be a star permanently, this is a purple patch) and have Pereira and potentially Angel Gomes coming up. This is probably the best lot of youngsters we've had coming up in a long, long time (sure beats the likes of Cleverly).
On another note, if Roma really are in for Darmian, I honestly wouldn't mind us getting Peres as cover for Valencia. They're similar types of players, obviously Peres is not as good but he wouldn't be bad cover if Valencia does go down. We do need some depth in that area after all.

Basically a replacement for Micky but on Zlatan type wages, shouldn’t change our pursuit of other players but things change so just have to wait and see.
I’d disagree with the age thing, we already have our own stars in Rashford and Martial plus Lingard is improving and we spent huge money on Lukaku. Micky will be off one way or another as will Zlatan, so that leaves Mata as the only attacker over 25 and Mou doesn’t trust him against the top sides. We lack that real top quality and experience to ease the pressure and help these lads and Sanchez can provide that.

if Real Madrid did it he'd say its inspired.
Anyway enough about that nonce, how does Mhki line up at Arsenal, it really isn't the ideal place to go at the moment but he would get a chance. Especially if Ozil is off this window as well, he could play in behind Lacazette (which would be a very good option) or play on the wings.
The sooner the better, need to get prepared for the game away to burnley (which will be a tough one, they're playing really well this season).

Snachez and Mkhitaryan pretty much the same age, Sanchez better quality. A shame with Miki as he is a wonderful footballer but he needs a coach who fully trusts him and gives him confidence. He doesn't seem to have any confidence by himself and then he is at the wrong club here. We shouldn't pay too much on top of a player swap if any, as Miki has the longer contract despite Sanchez being the higher profile player. That should setlle the difference in valuation.
Despite being it the correct decision to let Miki go (as long as Mou is here) I fear under Wenger me might be a top player but I easily prefer Sanchez.
Regarding wages I shouldn't care as any money spent on a player is better than going into their pockets. I still hope we are not that dump to make him the 4th best paid player, that would not be appropriate!

Raiola coming out and saying its up to Arsenal to agree a deal for Mhki and that its a straight swap.
We're fucked aren't we, no way Arsenal are going to foot that agents fee for him (unless Raiola does whats right for his client for once).

Why does Mou have a fetish for donkey players. Anyway let the two go (Fellaini can go reunite with Moyes and Carrick can transition to the back) and go bring in Milinkovic-Savic in the summer or get Goretzka on a pre-contract in time for next season.
