Ronaldo is either mugging off the media or he wants to leave, if it's the latter then it's quite simple, bring him home As for Dier while I'm all for signing British players he's just so painfully average and there are better cheaper alternatives out there.

50 mill for Dier is a rip off.
The only spurs players i would really go after in earnest is Eriksen and of course Kane and Alli.

A possible offer for Ronaldo & Morata with De Gea going the other way for £183m, what does that mean for the valuation of each player? (apart from us not wanting Dave to be offered in any deal)
Dea Gea for me is worth somewhat between £60m and £75m, rather 75 since Pickford moved for 25 and Ederson for 35.
Morata is obviously valued between 60 and 74 according to media. Let's say agreement at 70m
Total £183m means
De Gea £60m Morata £70m Ronaldo = £173m
ridicolous, I'd pay them £183m for both without sending Dave the other way!

absolutely, just in case, we won't get fooled that easily with Ronaldo rumours. Thought that sum was just ridiculous. As well as these player exchanges almost never really happen.
I wonder what our transfer budget is this summer and what I would be willing to pay for such a player.

can understand why to not jump on because this has happened before.
Either way signing Perisic after this would be so disappointing in comparison (what a rubbish consolation prize)
Also here's a name that we should be going after, Kalidou Koulibaly. I'm amazed he hasn't been linked, he would be amazing for us and give us what we don't already have. He is a big, strong imposing CB that can really defend and can lead a backline (as he did in Napoli). He'd be perfect for us.

I don't think we will/should sign another CB!
Bailly, Lindelöf, Rojo, Smalling, Jones, Tuanzebe, Blind, Fosu-Mensah
more than enough cover, could as well sell one of those.

Jones is not good enough and Smalling is going. We need a proper leader at C.B and that C.B clearly isn't Smalling or anyone else at the club now, including Lindelof (not that we signed him to be).

Sooooo, is anything actually getting done now? after the Lindelof deal everything from us has come to a halt.

Fabinho mentioned a lot today but sources not too serious.
Bayern put price tag on Sanches at €30m. I would take for that fee. Young and big potential in an area we are short of players. Worst case we sell on in 2 years.
